4.TWENTY-FIVE PLAYER RAID ZONES-4.6Tier Three,Black Temple-9

Illidari Council
After defeating Mother Shahraz, follow the hallway near her spawn point to the Illidari Council. On the way to the council, your raid will experience some unique trash that can easily wipe your raid on first attempt. Do not despair if you find the initial pulls difficult, the path to Illidari Council is relatively quick and easy to maneuver.
Abilities
The Illidari Council consists of a priest, paladin, mage, and a rogue that must be fought simultaneously. They share 2,900,000 hit points and enrage after 15 minutes. Each mob has unique abilities that must be dealt with during the fight.
Gathios the Shatterer
Gathios the Shatterer is a paladin that has an impressive array of abilities that he is able to use during this fight but is not able to hit targets with crushing blows.
Blessing of Protection – Grants physical damage immunity to the target for 15 seconds and can be cast on any of the other bosses.
Blessing of Spell Warding – This ability shares a cool down with the Blessing of Protection ability and also grants immunity but is limited to magical damage immunity for 15 seconds.
Chromatic Resistance Aura – An aura that increases the other bosses’ resistance to all magic schools by 250 for 30 seconds.
Consecration – This ability is used about every 30 seconds to deal 2,250 holy damage every 3 seconds for 21 seconds within a 10 yards radius.
Devotion Aura – This aura shares a cool down with Chromatic Resistance Aura, which is 1 minute. This ability gives the other 3 boss a 20 percent increase in armor for 30 seconds.
Hammer of Justice – This is cast randomly targets a player within 10 to 40 yards from Gathios the Shatterer and casts this ability on the player to stun the target for 6 seconds.
Seal of Blood – A self-buff that gives Gathios an additional 800 holy damage to each of his attacks for 30 seconds. Judging this seal does between 10,000 and 11,000 holy damage and it is not reflectable.

Seal of Command – A self-buff, which shares a cool down with the Seal of Blood ability that gives Gathios a change to deal additional holy damage that equates to about 70% of his normal weapon damage. It is possible to reflect this spell and judging this seal does about 7,000 holy damage.
High Nethermancer Zerevor
High Nethermancer Zerevor is a mage and uses typical mage abilities.
Arcane Bolt – An arcane bolt, with a 2.5 second casting time that does 13,000 to 15,000 arcane damage to the target highest on his threat list.
Arcane Explosion – A resistible AoE that does 9,000 to 9,500 arcane damage to those within 10 yards.
Blizzard – A frost AoE spell that does 4,500 to 5,500 frost damage to targets within a 10 yard radius anywhere in the room. The spell lasts for 12 seconds and does not immediately begin damaging targets so if the targets move quickly, they can avoid damage.
Dampen Magic – A buff that reduces mage damage taken by 75 percent and healing by 500 points.
Flamestrike – An AoE spell that does burst damage of 4,000 to 5,000 fire damage to all targets in a 10 yard radius as well as an additional 3,000 fire damage every 2 seconds for 12 seconds.
Lady Malande
Lady Malande is the priest in the group. She heals the other 3 bosses while also doing damage to the raid.
Circle of Healing – A healing spell that heals all of the bosses for 95,000 to 105,000 hit points. This spell has a 20 second cool down and a 2.4 casting time.
Divine Wrath – A holy damage spell that randomly does 5,000 burst holy damage to a raid player and then an additional 2,500 fire damage every 2 seconds for 8 seconds.
Empowered Smite – Another holy damage spell that damages a player for 5,500 to 6,000 damage. Once again, she randomly targets a player and casts this spell about every 30 seconds. It has a casting time of 2 seconds.

Reflective Shield – This buff shields against both physical and magical damage. It lasts up to 25,000 damage absorbed or 20 seconds. It is possible to interrupt spells with melee attacks while the shield is active.
Veras Darkshadow
Veras Darkshadow is a rogue and has typical rogue abilities.
Deadly Poison – Once cast, it places a DoT on a target that does 1,000 nature damage every second for 4 seconds. This cannot be removed.
Envenom – His finishing move that does 4,000 to 5,750 poison damage and consumes the Deadly Poison DoT.
Vanish – Same as a rogue’s vanish ability. It lasts 30 seconds.
The Pull and Position
There is quite of bit of space in this room so actively take advantage of all of it to spread out. Different raids use different positions to separate the bosses so do what works best for your raid group. Make sure you tank one boss on the stage or steps near the spawn point. Tank another in the right corner of the room and one in the left corner of the room near the ramps. You may find it useful to tank the rogue near the room’s entrance since he spawns near the entrance after each vanish.
The mage that is tanking starts casting fireball or pyroblast while the tanks assigned to Veras Darkshadow and Lady Malande charge them. Misdirect Gathios the Shatterer to another tank.
Battle
Gathios the Shatterer
Gathios the Shatterer does incredible damage in spikes so put at least 3 or 4 healers on the tank. Keep in mind healing must be increasingly fast when he judges his Seal of Command buff. Gathios the Shatterer casts Consecration, which requires everyone within range to run out from to avoid it. He keeps buffing the other mobs throughout the fight. Be aware of the buffs being added to the other bosses.
High Nethermancer Zerevor
A mage tanks High Nethermancer Zerevor. To be successful, the mages needs to have a fair to high amount of spell hit to minimize Spellsteal resists since the mage depends on this ability. High Nethermancer Zerevor casts Dampen Magic on himself as soon as the pull

happens. Spellsteal this buff immediately to reduce the damage done on the mage from High Nethermancer Zerevor’s spells. Obviously the Detect Magic debuff is essential here.
Other damage dealers should not focus on this target because of the possibility of Arcane Explosion if members get close to him. Another reason damage dealers should be focusing on other targets is so that the mage can maintain the highest threat for this boss. One healer should be able to keep the mage alive during this fight but have a backup healer assigned to assist with the mage as a secondary healing target.
Lady Malande
Lady Malande does low melee damage to her tank but smites for moderate damage while also casting Divine Wrath on random raid members. Her damage output should be noted but is not a major concern.
Lady Malande’s Reflective Shield and Circle of Healing spells are what the raid needs to be concerned with during this fight. Interrupt her healing spells with whatever interrupter abilities you have at your raid’s disposal and keep a few interrupters on Lady Malande throughout the fight. Warlocks also can assist by keeping Curse of Tongues on Lady Malande.
Veras Darkshadow
As rogue, Veras Darkshadow vanishes every 30 seconds. He then randomly appears and casts Deadly Poison and possibly Envenom on a target before reappearing as tankable. He does little melee damage to the tank so one healer can heal the tank on him. Keep in mind that the healer will have to move to avoid possible AoE spells from other mobs so assign a back up healer to keep the tanks as a secondary healing target. The healer for Veras Darkshadow usually has enough time to spread heals around the raid during vanishes.
The tank needs to grab Veras Darkshadow as soon as he appears. There have been some occasions when the rogue receives a buff that makes him immune to the warrior’s attempts. If this is the case, the warrior should call out the target and follow Veras Darkshadow, continually attempting to gain the aggro until the buff is removed. Damage dealers should not focus on this target.

Overall
There is a great deal going on in this fight and consequently, quite a few possibilities for failure. Luck can play a role as multiple abilities can target the same person and essential one shot the target or Spellsteal can be resisted. What you can control are your interrupts on Lady Malande, your healer’s readiness for fast healing, and your raid members’ movement away from AoE abilities. This fight may take a few attempts to learn but you will find that the more you complete the fight, the better the raid becomes at handling the unlucky events that may happen.
