4.TWENTY-FIVE PLAYER RAID ZONES-4.6Tier Three,Black Temple-7

Reliquary Of Souls
Reliquary of Souls is a three-faced floating head boss in Black Temple. To get to the Reliquary of Souls room, go through Gurtogg Bloodboil’s room and down the ramp, make a right and go straight until you see a room full of ghost mobs. You must get though this hall of continuously spawning mobs to get to the boss room, at the end of the hallway (on the right side). An effective way to do this is to run along the right wall as a group and handling mobs as you go. Stop to gather mobs and kill them, then move forward until you reach the end. Once the last mobs have died, move to the boss room.
Abilities
Reliquary of Souls has three different faces that represent the three phases of the fight and each face has over 2,000,000 hit points. Below are the abilities according to face phase.
Essence of Suffering
The aura for this phase reduces armor, healing effects, and regeneration by 100 percent. Defense is also reduced by 500.This phase has the following abilities:
Enrage: Increases attack speed by 50 percent and physical damage dealt by 25 percent for 15 seconds.
Fixate: Locks aggro on the target and is performed every 5 seconds on the closest target.
Soul Drain: Dispellable debuff that affects three random players, which does initial burst damage of 2,500 to 3,400 and drains 2,500 to 3,400 mana every 3 seconds for 30 seconds or until dispelled.
Essence of Desire
The aura of desire increases healing by 100 percent but decreases caster mana pools until they have no mana available. When players deal damage, they receive half of the damage they do. This phase has the following abilities:
Deaden: An interruptible and resistible debuff that increases damage taken by 100 percent and lasts for 15 seconds.

Rune Shield: A dispellable but uninterruptible buff that absorbs 50,000 damage which lasts 15 seconds and increases both attacks speed and casting speed by 100 percent.

Spirit Shock: An interruptible buff that does initial burst of 9,000 to 10,750 arcane damage and confuses the target for 5 seconds. Spirit Shock’s cast time is 1 second.
Essence of Anger
The anger aura’s effects increase as the fight continues. The aura does shadow damage as a DoT to raid members during the phase. The aura increases damage dealt by raid members.
Seethe: This debuff/buff is cast if the aggro target switches during this phase. It increases the size of the boss by 20 percent and attack speed by 100 percent while increasing players’ threat gain by 200 percent.. This debuff on players and buff on the boss lasts for 10 seconds.
Soul Scream: This frontal cone AoE hits up to 5 targets within 10 yards of the boss. Initially, it does about 2,500 to 3,500 shadow damage and burns about 5,000 mana, or 100 rage. Every point of rage burned causes an additional 100 damage.
Spite: Randomly targets 3 players and gives them immunity for 6 seconds before dealing about 8,000 nature damage to them. It then places the targets into another state of immunity for 2 more seconds.
The Pull and Position
When the Essence of Suffering spawns, it is imperative that the first tank be the closest to the spawn point so that the player receives the Fixate debuff. To do this, the person to be fixated will almost be underneath the head when it spawns. Once the tank is fixated upon, the tank should take a few steps back until the player is standing outer edge of the targeting ring. The remaining raid members should stay at maximum range.
Battle
Phase One: Essence of Suffering
There are two tanking strategies for this fight. The first one is a normal rotation of the tanks. The second one has one tank for the encounter, who tanks while being given buffs such as Power Word Shields and Blessing of Sacrifice and is Intervened until the first enrage. At this point, evasion rogues tank during the enrage but allow the original tank to become fixated again once the enrage ends. Remember that during this phase, damage cannot be healed so quickly defeat the Essence of Suffering before the rotating tanks die.

Assuming that the initial Fixated tank has moved to the outer targeting ring, the next player that is going to take the fixated debuff needs to move into place to begin a rotation. The next tank needs to move in from behind the Fixated tank so that the player is standing between the Essence of Suffering and the current Fixated tank. Once this tank gets the Fixated debuff, this tank then moves slightly to the outer targeting ring so that the next tank can get the debuff.
Once the Essence of Suffering reaches 1 percent health, it returns to the spawn point and ghosts spawn and head to the raid. Remembers need to gather into one spot to gather the ghosts. As each ghost dies, it restores about 30% of player health and mana to all players within 15 yards.
Phase Two: Essence of Desire
The tank runs to spawn point and begins building threat immediately. Keep in mind that mana steadily decreases during this phase and damage dealers take half of the damage they do to the Essence of Desire. This phase is a damage race.
Remove the Rune Shield from the Essence of Desire as soon as it is cast via mage’s spellstealing or felhunter’s devour abilities. Meanwhile the warrior needs to be spell-reflecting deaden back onto the Essence of Desire to increase raid damage on the boss. Not to be left out, melee damage dealers (and mages) also need to interrupt another ability, Spirit Shock, to avoid the possibility of the tank having the disorient effect on him. Set up rotations to handle the Rune Shield and Spirit Shock abilities. If mana is depleted and you are close to 1 percent, you can use a few tricks to help you along. Paladins can use Lay on Hands to keep the tank alive. Priests can use their Inner Focus to dispel the Rune Shield and such.
Once the Essence of Desire reaches 1 percent health, it again returns to the spawn point and ghosts spawn and head to the raid. Remembers need to gather into one spot to gather the ghosts. As each ghost dies, it restores about 30% of player health and mana to all players within 15 yards.

Phase Three: Essence of Anger
The last phase of the fight! Once again, your tank runs to the spawn point to start building aggro. The first and more important step for the tank to do is to turn the Essence of Anger so that the boss’s back is facing the raid to avoid Soul Scream from affecting the raid. Keep in mind that Soul Scream will be hitting the tank, which will burn his rage and deal extra damage to him. Meanwhile the aura in this phase boots the damage dealer’s aggro faster than the tank’s abilities can generate threat. Damage dealers need to manage their threat with this in mind but still manage to kill the Essence of Anger before the aura DoT kills the raid. During this phase, remember to heal players with the Spite debuff quickly so that the combined damage from Spite and the aura DoT does not kill them.

This fight takes practice and coordination to learn and master. Nature potions may be helpful while learning the last phase. It is important that all raid members have enough health to survive the damage without sacrificing damage. Adjust the balance of your raid to what your raid needs in the fight, whether it be more damage or healing.
