4.TWENTY-FIVE PLAYER RAID ZONES-4.5Tier Three,Mount Hyjal-4

Kaz’rogal
Kaz’rogal is the first boss you encounter at the Horde camp. To get to the Horde camp from the pre-raid zone, go to the portal on the immediate right. To get to the Horde camp from the Alliance camp, follow the path on the west side of the camp.
Abilities
Katz’rogal has about 4,500,000 hit points. He has four abilities that the raid needs to be aware of and handle.
Cleave: Kaz’rogal does a frontal cleave, which does a high amount (about 10,000 points) of damage to his target.
Dispel: Kaz’rogal randomly targets a player and removes a buff.
Mark of Kaz’rogal: This debuff is placed on the entire raid, which affects mana users. When the debuff is active, it lasts for 5 seconds and drains 600 mana per second from the targets. If the mana user does not have any mana at the time, the player “detonates” causing between 10,000 and 11,000 shadow damage to the player and those within a 10 to 15 yard radius of the player. Once the fight begins, he uses this ability every minute.
War Stomp: Kaz’rogal uses war stomp to stun melee players close to him.
The Pull and Position
Start the event by talking to Thrall. After killing the eight waves of mobs, Kaz’rogal invades the camp. He moves slowly until he finds something to kill, whether it is a NPC or player so use a hunter to misdirect him to the main tank.
Kaz’rogal’s positioning does not particularly matter but moving him so that the tauren warrior and Thrall are engaged provide an extra benefit since they are able to help damage the boss for about 15 percent of his total health. More importantly make sure all of your mana users are spread out so that they are about 15 yards apart from each other.

Battle
Waves
Once again you have 8 waves of mobs to handle before Kaz’rogal invades the camp. Each wave contains anywhere from 12 to 18 mobs. The mobs preceding Kaz’rogal are abominations, banshees, crypt fiends, frost wyrms, gargoyles, ghouls, and shadowy necromancers. Their abilities are explained in the introduction to this instance.
It is important to note that gargoyles may not only spawn near the front of the camp but may also spawn near Thrall or near the tauren warriors so the raid must be on guard for wandering gargoyles. Frost Wyrms appear in waves 7 and 8 and must be turned from the raid. Frost Wyrms appear from the right side Tower if looking at the invaders’ entrance from the Horde camp. The raid has about 2 minutes to kill the wave before the next wave spawns and attacks with the exception of wave 8, which gives about 3 minute of recovery time between the wave and the boss.
Horde NPCs are similar to the Alliance NPCs in that they do average damage but have a great deal of hit points. Unlike the Alliance camp, they are scattered around the Horde camp so keep an eye out for wandering mobs that may target some of the NPCs. The tauren warriors do an AoE war stomp and do considerable damage. Try to keep these alive. Once again, engage the NPCs by dragging one of the weaker mobs to them and to Thrall.
Kaz’rogal
This fight is a damage-per-second (dps) race. Give the main tank about 10 seconds to build a solid aggro on Kaz’rogal and then do whatever you can to kill him. Remember you can get the extra benefit of the tauren warriors and Thrall if you engage him. The Mark of Kaz’rogal is why it is so important to kill Kaz’rogal quickly. Kaz’rogal initially casts this ability every 60 seconds but he starts to cast it more as the fight continues. Eventually he’ll start casting it continually so in essence the raid has an enrage time of about 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

The Mark of Kaz’rogal ability is what makes this fight difficult but there are some tricks you can use to assist you with the fight. To avoid detonation, mana users need to do whatever they can to keep themselves from running out of mana. The Medallion of Karabor and priests’ shadow protection buff provide some buffering from the Mark of Kaz’rogal. Any more shadow gear and may suffer to the point that Kaz’rogal will not die. Also do whatever you can to not run out of mana. Drink potions and use mana generating foods and potions to keep some mana.
Use your best dps for this fight. Do whatever it takes to burn Kaz’rogal down before he kills your raid. Utilize the NPCs, such as tauren warriors and Thrall, who do not have mana to assist with the fight. Because of the importance to kill Kaz’rogal quickly, consumables to increase dps and mana are absolutely essential for this fight.
