Introduction
Raid members get to join in the last stand of the habitants of Azeroth against the Burning Legion. The zone is separated into three camps: Alliance, Horde, and Night Elves. The raid fights two bosses in both the Alliance and Horde camps and uses an item from the Night Elf camp in the final boss fight.
This zone is unique in that the trash mobs are actually part of the boss encounters. The trash mobs come in waves as part of the event. Another distinction between this zone and other zones is that the NPCs in both the Horde and Alliance camps can assist with the trash waves and even the boss encounters.
Trash Mobs
Each boss encounter consists of 8 trash waves. The waves consist of any combination of the following mobs
Abominations: Undead that can be feared, shackled, and trapped. They have 180,000 hit points and hit for about 3,000 points on plate.
?Poison Aura – An aura that does 750 in damage to those around the Abomination every 3 seconds for as long as they stay in range.
Banshees: Undead mobs with 83,000 hit points that can be feared, shackled, and trapped.
?Anti-Magic Shell – An anti-magic shield that absorbs 200,000 magical damage for 30 seconds which can be purged.
?Banshee Curse – Curse that reduces the target’s chance to hit by 66 percent for 5 minutes or until decursed.
?Banshee Wail – A direct damage spell that does 2,500 to 3,000 shadow damage to the current target.
Crypt Fiends: Undead mobs with 170,000 hit points that can be feared, shackled, and trapped. They sometimes shoot small spiders at a target that do about 300 damage total to the target.
?Web – This spell immobilizes a target for 10 seconds.
Fel Stalkers: Demons that have 100,000 hit points and do damage that is under 1,000 hit points to plate and 2,400 damage on cloth wearers.
?Mana Burn – This spell burns about 2,000 mana points from the Fel Stalker’s current target and deals about half of the mana burned points to the target’s hit points in damage.
Frost Wyrms: Hunters, mages, or warlocks need to tank these mobs because they stay in the air until dead. Keep them facing away from the raid. They spawn from the direction of the two towers where the Shadowy Necromancer and tanks are.
?Frost Breath – Spell that does an initial burst of frost damage (between 2,500 and 3,500) to a target and those within an 8 yard range of the target. It also slows the affected players’ movement by 50 percent for 6 seconds.
Gargoyles: These mobs come in multiples and start in the air. They aggro someone and will land and remain grounded if their aggro target goes out of Gargoyle Strike range.
?Gargoyle Strike: A direct damage spell that deals 1,000 nature damage to the target. The spell has a 35 yard range.
Ghouls: Undead with 140,000 hit points that can be feared, shackled, and trapped.
?Cannibalize – Ghouls cannibalize corpses when they get low on health. This restores about 7 percent of their health every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. They can be feared, shackled, and stunned and should be if one starts to cannibalize.
Giant Infernals: Fearable and banishable demons that have 130,000 hit points and do fire melee damge.
?Flame Buffet – Increases fire damage taken by at least 50 for 60 seconds, which can be dispelled.
?Immolation Aura – An aura that burns nearby players for roughly 450 points every 3 seconds.
Shadowy Necromancers: Humanoids with 120,000 hit points that can be feared, sheeped, and trapped.
?Cripple – Debuff that decreases a target’s strength and speed by 50 percent while decreasing attack speed by 100 percent.
?Shadow Bolt – A shadow damage bolt that does between 2,000 and 3,000 damage to a target.
?Summon Skeletons – This spell summons either a skeletal mage or invader.
?Unholy Frenzy – This buff increases one his ally’s attack speed by 100 percent for 20 seconds but also deals 500 nature damage to the same ally every 2 seconds.
