4.TWENTY-FIVE PLAYER RAID ZONES-4.4Tier Two,The Eye-1

Introduction
Located in Netherstorm, The Eye is the home of Kael’thas Sunstrider. It is the inner sanctum of the floating citadel Tempest Keep and is a 25 man raiding zone. Tempest Keep also has three instance dungeons designed for five players.
The Eye only has four boss encounters but after defeating all the bosses, most guilds agree that four is enough for the instance. The Kael’thas Sunstrider encounter is considered to be the most difficult encounter in the Burning Crusade expansion by most guilds.
Trash Mobs
Similar to Serpentshrine Cavern, the trash mobs are on a 2 hour respawn timer and generally are pulled in groups. There are four types of trash mobs in this dungeon: beasts, demons, humanoids, and mechanical mobs.
?Apprentice Star Scryer – These humanoids can be crowd controlled.
?Astromancer – This humanoid mob can be crowd controlled.
?Astromancer Lord – A humanoid caster.
?Bloodwarder Legionnaire – A humanoid mob that can be crowd controlled.
?Bloodwarder Marshal – These humanoids whirlwind and need to be tanked since they are immune to crowd control abilities.
?Bloodwarder Squire – Humanoid mobs that heal other mobs. These should be killed before other mobs.
?Bloodwarder Vindicator – These humanoids can cleanse other mobs and can break the crowd control on other mobs.
?Crimson Battle Mage – This humanoid casts AoE spells along with a deadly frost spell that does 18,000 frost damage to any single target. Keep this mob feared even while killing the humanoid.
?Crimson Blood Knight – These mobs dispel crowd control abilities. They cannot be crowd controlled. They stun their targets so two tanks are needed.

?Crimson Hand Centurion – This humanoid mob Whirlwinds and shoots arcane bolts at players. Each one can be crowd controlled.
?Crimson Hand Inquisitor – These humanoids can be disarmed. Spellsteal or dispel the Power Infusion buff from them They also can be crowd controlled and cast Mindflay on their targets.
?Crystalcore Devastator – This mechanical mob patrols a hall and can be single pulled.
?Crystalcore Mechanic – These demons are killed after the Crystalcore mobs so they are third in the kill order for these packs. They throw AoE saw blades at the raid.
?Crystalcore Sentinel – These two mechanical mobs are pulled together and tanked so they are separate. They do massive damage to the tank and can do AoE damage to the raid.
?Novice Astromancer – These humanoids can be defeated by using AoE spells.
?Phoenix-Hawk – The phoenix-hawks are solo pulls. These beasts charge the player that is the furthest from them. Keep the raid within close range of the mob and the off-tank stands as farthest away from the hawks.
?Phoenix-Hawk Hatchling – These beasts patrol Al’ar’s room
?Star Scryer – A humanoid that can be crowd controlled.
?Tempest Falconer – A humanoid mob that patrols Al’ar’s room with a pack of phoenix-hawk hatchlings. Crowd control the hatchlings while the tanks maintain aggro on the falconers. Hunters can use the Misdirect ability to aggro the falconer to the tanks so they are not knocked backwards by the hawklings and unable to establish aggro. Kill active hatchlings, then the falconers, and then the crowd controlled hatchlings.
?Tempest-Smith – These humanoids throw AoE bombs at raid members.
There is no longer an attunement requirement to enter The Eye. Although this dungeon has a few number of bosses, it contains one of the hardest encounters at this point in the game. Choose what order the raid group sees fit to tackle the first three bosses of the zone.
