3.TEN PLAYER RAID ZONES-3.2Tier Two,Zul’Aman-1,2

Introduction And Trash Mobs
Zul’Aman is located in the Ghostlands, which is an area north of the Eastern Plaguelands. There are a few quest lines for this dungeon. The first one starts with Ooh, Shinies! in the lower city of Shattrath. The reset of the quest givers are located in Hatchet Hills, which is outside of Zul’Aman.
There are four animal lord bosses in Zul’Aman along with a witch doctor boss and the final boss in the zone. Instead of discussing the type of mobs in this zone, the following discusses a new challenge that Zul’Aman presents to raid groups. Zul’Aman has a timed event. This event is mainly geared towards being a challenge for raid groups that are in tier six gear or the equivalent of that gear so it will definitely be a challenge for raid groups that have not reached that level of gear yet.
When the raid group first enters Zul’Aman, they must speak to Harrison Jones to gain entrance. He also starts a timed event in which the raid group has 20 minutes to defeat four bosses to rescue sacrificial NPCs and gain additional loot from each boss. The raid group can choose whatever order they wish but should keep in mind that only two bosses add time to the timer: Nalorakk and Akil’zon.
The first boss that should be done is the Eagle boss. Start the gauntlet and keep moving while the mobs spawn. While moving, AoE the eagles and place DoTs the Amani’shi Warriors. The raid group tanks maintain aggro on the warriors. There are about five trigger points on the gauntlet path. Kill the Amani’shi warrior type of mobs before setting off the next trigger. Pull the Amani’shi Tempest to stop the respawns and clear any other remaining trash. Pull Akil’zon. Akil’zon should die in about 3 minutes. The total time to get to him and kill him should be under 8 minutes. This kill should give the raid group 10 minutes in additional time.

Move to Nalorakk, the bear boss. Hug the left wall to skip at least two of the Amani bear packs. When Nalorakk dies, he gives the raid group an additional 15 minutes on the timer. Nalorakk should also die in about 3 minutes. The raid group then heads to Jan’alai.
The area between Nalorakk and Jan’alai are filled with Amani’shi mobs. The scouts need to be killed first and respawn quickly. They summon more mobs for the raid to fight if they aggro on the group by running to the nearest drum and sounding the alarm. As the group moves through this area, keep an eye out on respawning scouts. Jan’alai should be pulled about 7 minutes after Nalorakk dies. Jan’alai should die about 4 minutes later. No extra time is given so head directly to the Halazzi.
Halazzi must die in 3 minutes or less to complete the timed event. One benefit to completing the timed event is a bear mount waiting for one of your raid group members at the end of event. Enjoy!

Nalorakk
Nalorakk is literally across from Akil’zon. Run back across the middle of the zone to where the bear mobs are grazing on the grass. From the entrance, head to Nalorakk by taking the first right. Nalorakk actually sends trash mobs to the group. Once again, do not worry about mana here. The group has time to rest before Nalorakk is engaged.
Abilities
Nalorakk has 1,300,000 hit points and switches forms between troll and bear form. He enrages after 10 minutes.
Bear Form
Deafening Roar –This roar silences players for 2 seconds and does 1,500 damage points to players.
Lacerating Slash – A bleed effect that lasts for 5 seconds and does 2,500 damage points every second
Rend Flash – Another bleed effect that does about 2,500 damage points every second for 5 seconds.
Troll Form
Brutal Swipe – A cleave that does about 14,000 damage points to plate and can be divided between two tanks.
Mangle – This spell causes bleed effects to do 100 percent additional damage.
Surge – A charge that does 1,500 damage points to plate and 3,500 damage points to cloth.
The Pull and Position
This fight requires two tanks: one for each form. The fight starts out with Nalorakk in troll form so the tank that is tanking that form engages Nalorakk first. The rest of the raid spreads out in a half moon circle around Nalorakk and the two tanks. Melee players obviously are behind Nalorakk while ranged casters are standing further back.
Battle
Two tanks are needed for this fight. They can be any combination of a warrior, protection paladin, or feral druid. Both tanks stand in front of Nalorakk to share the Brutal Swipe damage. The tanks need to taunt as soon as Nalorakk switch forms to make the transitions smooth. If a taunt is resisted, the

tank needs to alert the group since the active tank is going to take extra damage. Since Nalorakk’s aggro does not resist during this fight, damage dealers are able to keep doing damage during the transitions.
Healers need to keep in mind that there is silence during the bear form. HoTs are essential to keeping a tank alive during the silences. The off-tank also needs healing attention during the cleaves since that tank is sharing damage. Most groups run with three healers and two healers focus on the tanks while one one healer focuses on raid members and the tanks.
This fight is a relatively easy one since the tanks are the ones taking most of the damage most of the time. Once again if the group makes the sacrifice timer, they are able to collect additional loot from a chest. Loot the items from Nalorakk and the chest and then move forward to the last boss.
