Within the World of Warcraft there are numerous ways to make your fortune, but the one that is most practiced by pretty much everyone are daily quests. These are quests meant to be completed at a maximum level and reward generally over 10 Gold and sometimes an additional item or two for your troubles. You must have a flying mount to do the largest portion of these quests, including the attunement quest chain leading up to your daily quests. Though it may take a little effort to go through all the attunements, daily quests are one of the greatest ways to boost your fortune in World of Warcraft.
Battleground Daily
The first daily quest most players are likely to notice is the battleground daily quest. This quest may be obtained from any brigadier general of your specific faction. This quest will focus on a specific battleground to win each day and at level 70 will reward 11 Gold 99 Silver and 419 bonus honor. If the quest is focusing on a battleground where pre-
mades are accepted you may ant to ask your guild or other players on your server, your chances of success will go up greatly with people whom work well in a team.
Sha'tari Skyguard
The Sha'tari Skyguard is the first faction that you will usually begin your daily quests with as they are the easiest to obtain right after reaching level 70 and gaining a flying mount. The attunement quest begins in shatrath city beside the flightmaster. You will see an NPC named Yuula whom gives you a quest called “Threat from Above” which takes place in the Barrier Hills above Aldor Rise within the city. Simply slay the required number of Ogres and return to Yuula.
Congratulations, you have now been recruited into the Sha'tari Skyguard. Your next quest which she gives after turning in “Threat from Above” is “To Skettis!”. Skettis is located above Allerian Stronghold in Terokar Forest (at coordinates 64,66). You will see Sky Sergeant Doryn at Blackwind Landing to turn in “To Skettis”. You may now access the daily quest “Fires over Skettis” from Sky Sergeant Doryn; this quest rewards 11Gold 99 Silver and reputation with the Sha'tari Skyguard.
To complete “Fires over Skettis” simply hop onto your flying mount and look for eggs on top of the arakkoa buildings and their houses that look like cut off trees (look in the top of the cut off tree) there are usually 2-4 eggs in each spot. Bombs the eggs while evading the Mounstrous Kailiri and this quest will be complete in no time! Congratulations on starting your daily quest rep/gold grind! There are additional Skyguard quests located within Blade's Edge Mountains but these can only be obtained after completeing the Ogri'la Attunement chain, we will cover these in the next section.
Ogri'La and the Skyguard Outpost
The attunement chain for the next set of daily quests begins at V'eru, a Naaru in the center of shattrath city at the Chamber of Light (where A'dal resides). When speaking with V'eru you will obtain the quest “Speak with the Ogre” which will direct you to an Ogre named Grok located within the Lower City district of Shattrath (at coordinates 65,68). Upon Speaking with Grok you will obtain the quest “Mog'dorg the Wizened”, now you must head to Blade's Edge Mountains, at the Arena of Blood upon one of it's towers resides Mog'dorg (at coordinates 54,44).
Upon speaking with Mog'dorg you learn that he is trying to save his clan from annialhation at the hands of rival clans and the sons of Gruul. Mog'dorg gives you several quests to complete and slay the sons of Gruul but the next step in this attunement is a quest called “Even Gronn have Standards”, all of the Gronn killing quests require a full group usually to complete. This next quest requires you to kill Slaag, a son of Gruul whom inhabits the Barrier Hills above Shattrath City (the same place you completed the skyguard attunement at) and loot Slaag's Standard to be turned into Mog'dorg. After you complete this task return to Mog'dorg and pick up the quests “Grulloc has two Skulls” and “Maggoc's Treasure Chest”.
Grulloc has two Skulls will be the easiest to complete and turn in out of these two quests because he is almost right next to Mog'dorg. Simply slay Grulloc and loot his dragon skull to complete this quest. Maggoc's Treasure Chest requires a little more travel and some searching as he patrols the area of Razor Ridge in Blade's Edge Mountains and even comes in close to Toshley's station every now and then. This is still another straight forward quest though, Kill Maggoc and take the chest he leaves behind and you're done. Now onto Mog'dorg and our next quest which is some rather grim(oire) business.
After you return to Mog'dorg and have turned in the three Gronn slaying quests you will be able to pick up the quest “Grim(oire) Business” this quest requires an event to draw out a powerful Ogre warlock and slay him to obtain his Vile Grimoire. Vim'Gol's circle is located around 77,30 near Skald, behind some mountains. You and each member of your party must stand on a firey circle to bring forth Vim'Gol to slay him. After he is slain, right click his Grimoire on the ground and this quest is complete! Return to Mog'dorg and continue this chain of events.
“Into the Soulgrinder” in the next step in this chain of quests, and it involves using the grimoire you just obtained from the previous quest. Head over to the Soulgrinder's Barrow and read the Grimoire to begin the event. An object called the Soulgrinder will appear as well as Skulloc's past victim's whom try to destroy it. You must hold his victim's at bay long enough to pull Skulloc fully into this world so that you may slay him. After he is slain his soul will spawn above his body, loot it and return to Mog'dorg.
Congratulations, you are now the new King/Queen of the Ogres! All of the previously hostile ogre's within blade's edge will now be neutral to you and will sometimes even respond to your emotes. You may now accept the quest “Ogre Heaven” from Mog'dorg and take your steps towards Ogri'la! Speak with Chu'a'lor at Ogri'La when you arrive to continue the attunement quests.
Chu'a'lor gives you a rather simple task to obtain 5 Apexis shards which may be obtained from killing the mobs at the area around Ogri'la. After you obtain these shards turn this quest in and pick up the quest “An Apexis Relic”. Apexis Relics are located all throughout the area where Ogri'La resides, they have a giant crystal in the center and are surrounded by four smaller crystals (each of the small crystals is an apexis relic). You simply need to activate the relic and a game of simon says will begin. I Find it easy to pull up my chat box and type in the sequence that is lighted up (ex. 4413241) and number 1 is the bottom left, number 2 is the upper left, number 3 is the upper right, and number 4 is the lower right (all in relation to where your character is standing); when the sequence ends and you have clicked the correct nodes, simply backspace it off and repeat. You will do this once again after turning in this quest and each day from here as you have begun the Ogri'La daily quests. Congratulations on completing this daunting quest chain!
