3.Runescape-3.4Guild

3.4. Guild
Guilds are places where a player can go to... well, just basically have fun. There
are a total of 10 guilds in Runescape:
- Champion's Guild
- Cooking Guild
- Crafting Guild
- *Fishing Guild
- *Heroes Guild
- *Legends Guild
- *Magic Guild (Wizards Guild)
- Mining Guild
- *Ranging Guild
- Prayer Guild
You will need to complete a specific requirement to enter each guild. Guilds are
benefits for players. Inside some guilds will be items that you can use to improve in a skill.
Inside some guilds are shops that sell specific goods.

3.4.1. Champion's Guild
Location: Southwest of Varrock
Requirement: 32 quest points
There's nothing much to say about the Champion's Guild. The Guildmaster is
located in the first floor of this guild; talk to him to begin the Dragon Slayer Quest. A
chicken pen full of lvl-3 Chickens is on the east side of the guild. A range is also here that
you can use to cook on.
On the second floor, Valaine and Scavvo are selling valuable weapons and
armors. Valaine sells a blue cape, Black Full Helm, Black Legs, and an Addy Body. You
can also sell any item you have to her. Scavvo runs a "toy" shop. His items are Rune
Skirt, Leg, Mace, Chainbody, Longsword, Sword, Dragonhide Chaps, Dragonhide
Vambraces, and Coif. An Escape Ladder is here that'll lead you outside the guild.
3.4.2. Cooking Guild
Location: North of the trail between Barbarian Village and Varrock.
Requirement: Lvl32 Cooking, wear a Chef's Hat to get in (can be bought in Varrock
Clothing Store)
There are three floors in the guild. In the first floor are a sink and a spawning
Chocolate Bar point. Climb up the ladder to the second floor.
Three cooking utensils and 2 Cooking Apples spawn here. They are on the tables.
Two ranges are here that you can use. Climb up the ladder to the third floor.
In the third floor are more spawning points: Cooking Apple, Jug, Pot, and Grapes.
There is also a hopper here. Use it to make Flour. Look up at the cooking skill section
above for further details on making Flour.
Overall, this guild is obviously a good place to train your cooking. Otherwise,
nothing very useful.
3.4.3. Crafting Guild
Location: North of Melzar's Maze. Follow the East trail from on the fork south of Falador
Requirement: Lvl40 crafting and a Brown Apron to enter (can be purchase in Varrock
Clothing Store)
The mining area is the most useful area of this guild. It is located on the east side.
You can't miss it. Clay, Silver, and Gold ores can be mined here. I would say that this is

the best spot to mine silver or gold ores. Even though the nearest bank is in Falador, there
are quite a few rocks (6 clay, 6 silver, and 7 gold). Your crafting needs can be found
around the guild. There is an Amulet Mould, Jug, Hammer, and Chisel in the first floor. A
Pottery Wheel and Pottery Oven are also here for your ceramic making.
A Holy Mould, Necklace Mould, and Shears can be found upstairs. The spinning
wheel can be used to make Balls of Wool. The Tanner here will take any Cow Hide you
give to him in exchange for Leather. You can get Cow Hide in the pen outside.
3.4.4. *Fishing Guild
Location: North of East Ardougne, Southwest of Hemenster
Requirement: Lvl68 Fishing
The Fishing Guild can be accessed by going through the south door around the
wall. In this building are 3 fishing equipments spawning on a table: a big fishing net,
harpoon, and lobster cage. The Master Fisher can be seen roaming around here. There is
also a range where you can cook your caught fish. Not necessary to go upstairs.
The two piers here contain a variety of fishing spots. You can choose to net, cage,
or harpoon a fishing spot. Once you have a large enough inventory of fishes, you can
decide to either cook the fishes on the range in the first building or cut down the tree
behind the bank with an axe, light it with a tinderbox, and cook the fishes on here. Either
option, you can deposit your cook fish in the bank.
Roachey, located in the building south and a little east of the bank, runs a fishing
store. You can buy Fishing Baits here or sell your caught fishes to him. This is a rather
good guild to come to for fish food.
3.4.5. *Heroes Guild
Location: North of Taverly and east across the wall of Goblin Village
Requirement: Complete Heroes’ Quest.
The Heroes Guild consists of three floors. Achietties is located outside in front of
the guild. Talk to him to begin the Heroes Quest. Inside, there are two ladders, one
leading up to the second floor and the other leading down to the dungeon basement.
Upstairs in the first floor is an altar in which you can recharge your prayer points at.
You can talk to Helemos to buy a Dragon Battle Axe for 200k or a Dragon Mace for 50k.
There is really nothing to talk about in the third floor because it's nearly empty except for

some furniture. You can enter the third floor on either ladder that's leading up in the
second floor.
Upon climbing down the ladder to the basement, you will notice that it looks like a
dungeon. A lvl-99 Blue Dragon is located in the room to the east of the ladder. Fight him if
you wish to have a good challenge. Further down the dungeon are some rocks that you
can mine. These rocks include coal, mith, adamant, and rune ores.
3.4.6. *Legends Guild
Location: Northeast of East Ardougne, Southeast of Hemenster
Requirement: Complete Legend's Quest
The Legends Guild is somewhat useful to many players. Upon entering the main
building, there will be a ladder leading up and a ladder leading down. Take the one
leading up to the second floor.
In this room, there are three ladders, two leading up, and the one you came up
from. Talk to Fionella to buy some cook fish, apple pies, 3 doses of attack potions, or steel
arrows. She runs a General Store, so you can sell any goods you have to her.
Now, notice how there is two ladders leading up. If you take the one on the east
side, you can access your bank account. If you take the one on the left, you will be
greeted by Siegfried Erkle. He runs a shop full of useful items. He sells Mithril Seeds,
Dusty Key, Silverlight, Maze Key, Right Shield Half, and Cape of Legends.
Downstairs in the basement is a dungeon full of lvl-27 bats, lvl-32 Scorpions, and
lvl-48 Shadow Warriors. It’s quite a good place to do your combat training.
3.4.7. *Magic Guild (Wizards Guild)
Location: In Yanille, which is far south of East Ardougne
Requirement: Lvl66 magic
You can access this guild through the east side door. Talking to Wizard Distentot
will teleport you to the Rune Essence Mining Field where you can obtain rune essences if
you have a pickaxe. Otherwise, head up or downstairs.
In the first floor is a Rune Shop which has stocks of runes. You can purchase any
elemental runes here, along with body, mind, chaos, nature, law, death, blood, and soul.
Battle and elemental staffs are also purchasable.
The second floor contains 2 spawning empty vials and 3 magic portals. The east
portal will teleport you to the Wizards’ Tower south of Draynor Village. The middle portal

will teleport you to the Dark Wizards’ Tower north of the Crafting Guild, and the west
portal will teleport you to Thormac the Sorceror’s House.
Below in the basement are target zombies that are trapped in a cage. This spot
serves as a good place to train your magic. Overall, the Magic Guild serves as an
excellent place for any magic needs.
3.4.8. Mining Guild
Location: In Falador, south of East Bank
Requirement: Lvl60 mining (you can enter this guild at lvl59 mining if you drink a Dwarven
Stout bought at the inn in Falador to boost up your mining point by 1)
The Mining Guild is extremely useful to miners. In here contains 37 coal and 5 mith
rocks. There are two entrances to the guild, one down the ladder behind Falador's East
Bank and the north door leading to the Dwarven Mine. You can enter or leave through
either one.
Coals and mith ores are commonly used for smithing. If you want to profit from
them then sell it to other players; not shops. Coals are worth 100-150gps each and mith
ores are worth 400-500gps each. Mine here, and you'll be guaranteed wealth.
3.4.9. *Ranging Guild
Location: East of Hemenster
Requirement: Lvl40 ranging
The Ranging Guild is a typical place where rangers go to level up. It is located east
of the trail in Hemenster. Once you enter the guild, to the right of you will be a merchant
house. The Armor Salesman and Bow and Arrow Salesman in here will sell you ranging
equipments in case you need them. The Tribal Weapons Salesman located southwest of
the center tower will sell you from bronze to rune Javelins and Throwing Axes. The Ticket
Merchant is located walking around in the western area of the guild. You can exchange
how ever many Archery Tickets you have for prizes by talking to him.
Ticket Merchant's Prizes

To gets Archery Tickets, first talk to the Competition Judge southeast of the
Ranging Guild. Purchase 10 Bronze Arrows from him for 200gps. You'll need to shoot at
the Targets to gain Archery Tickets. The closer the arrow is to the bull’s eye, the more
points you'll earn. Hitting the bull’s eye will give you 100 points. Once you have run out of
the 10 Bronze Arrows, go talk to the judge again. In the end, you'll receive one Archery
Ticket for every ten points you earned and 5 ranging exp for every point scored.
There are stairs on each edge of the guild and also one in the center of the guild.
Only the ladder in the center is accessible. You can train your ranging here by attacking
one of the 4 groups of 3 archers each. Once you begin shooting, the archers on the other
side will do the same. If you are using a short bow, then shooting at them would be
impossible because of the dexterity, so switch to a longbow. The levels of the npc archers
are 22, 42, 61, and 81. The arrows they shoot will appear on the tower so be sure to pick
them up. You can't retrieve the arrows you’ve shot.
3.4.10. Prayer Guild
Location: Monastery east of Black Knights Castle
Requirement: Lvl31 Prayer
Even though there is an altar and many monks who will heal injured players on the
ground level of the monastery, the real prayer guild is upstairs in the first floor. There are
two ladders that are entrances to the Prayer Guild on the ground floor. Brother Jered
located on the west side of the guild will bless any Stringed Holy Symbols you give to him.
On the east side of the top floor are 2 Monk's Robe (a top and bottom set). There is a
magical altar on the far north room where you can recharge your prayer stats at. What's
so magical about this altar is that you will gain two additional prayer stats whenever you
recharge at it.
