3.1.3. Prayer
Prayer is a good side skill that you can level up to use its special power. Most
players will train their prayer up to level 25 to use the lvl-25 prayer skill, which is Protect
Item. Some would go as far as level 43 to have all of the prayer's powers. The only way to
level up your prayer level is to pick up bones and then bury them. This means that bones
are essential to leveling up your prayer skill. A good way to level up your prayer skill is to
buy bones from other players.
Here is a chart of all the bones in RS and where they can be found:

Draining and Recharging:
Note that to use a certain prayer skill, you have to click on the spell. Then that spell
will be highlighted. If a prayer spell is highlighted, then that means that the spell is in use.
As long as a prayer spell is in use, your prayer points will slowly or rapidly deplete
depending on which spell you use. Using higher level spells will drain out your prayer
points faster than using lower level ones. Once your prayer points depletes to zero, you
can recharge them at an altar. Altars are spread throughout the RuneScape world. Most
altars can be found in churches. Your prayer points are located above the stats in your
prayer level.
3.1.4. Fishing
The basic idea for fishing is to catch fishes and then cook and eat them to regain
back your health. That's why lobsters and swordfishes are handiful, as they can
rejuvenate back a lot of hp. The only thing available to fish at level 1 is shrimps. Then from
level 5 and on you can begin catching new kinds of fish.
In order to fish, you'll need equipments. To catch shrimps, you'll need a Fishing
Net. To catch other fish you'll need other kinds of equipments and/or baits. The better your
fishing level, the faster you'll catch the fish.
Catching Fish

Cooking Fish

Training
Get a net and fish shrimps until level 5. Then get a fishing rod and some bait and
fish sardines and then herrings until level 20. At level 20, get a fly fishing rod and some
feathers and fish trout and salmon from there on. If you want to make money, then go
cage some lobsters after level 40. You can also harpoon swordfish after level 50 but the
rate of catching a swordfish is extremely slow.
Tips
- Fly fish trout and salmons until level 60. They give a decent amount of exp and are very
easy to catch. The only problem is having to buy all the feathers to get you there.
- If you want cooking exp, then, obviously, cook the fishes that you catch. You can earn a
lot of cooking exp this way. After you cook the fish, you can drop them for fellow
Runescape passers to take.
- Always remember to bring an ax and a tinderbox with you in order to be able to cook the
fish that you catch.
- If you don’t want cooking exp or to keep the fish that you catch, then just power fish.
Power fishing is fishing a full inventory of fish and then dropping the fish. However, you
can lose some valuable cooking exp if you power fish.
- Do not power fish lobsters or any fish that requires a higher fishing level than 40.
Chances are you won’t gain much experience.
