We will be rolling back the game servers to April 1st, the date where the game economy began to show negative signs, so that the integrity of the game market will be returned to normal.

April 8th, we will be taking the servers down and implementing a major patch that should take care of this and other recent hack issues. You will certainly notice a difference in the amount of hacks and 3rd party programs that will be blocked by this upcoming patch.

We are very aware of the confusion and frustration a rollback can cause and we will be compensating players for their lost time (both P2P and F2P). We apologize for this very drastic move, but in order to keep the game economy from further harm, a 7 day Roll-back is the only measure left.

What a "roll back" implies is that anything affecting your in-game character, or the game world, is reverted to a previous saved state of the game. This saved state is April 1st, 2008. All aspects of your character (experience gain, player killing, money gain, etc) are effectively "rolled back" to this date. Please note this only affects the game world and your character; account or billing information changes are not affected by a roll back.

Additionally, the Customer Support group is unable to provide any restoration of items, levels, or money that you may have acquired during this period.

As a way to compensate our understanding customers for this significant inconvenience, we are going to automatically apply 10 days of Gold Premium for those with Gold Premium access and 10 days of Silver Premium for those players with Silver Premium access. Those with F2P accounts: We will be applying the Silver premium Experience and drop rates to all F2P servers for a full week. Basically, servers 1, 2, and 3 will be Silver for 7 days.

We will also replace the double drop rate event with the Medal event, so everyone will still get those 7 days of Medals dropping. The medals will be turned on when the servers go back up, and will remain until the 6XP event starts, April 15th at approx. 18:00 -8GMT. The double drop rate event will be rescheduled for next month, and the big 6EXP event and the other events will all remain the same.

Some other big changes will be very noticeable:

1) Lahap WILL NOT be combining Jewels of Bless or Soul for the time being, as we are continuing the permanent fix with Webzen that will eradicate the "jewel dupe" issue once and for all. Disabling Lahap's ability to COMBINE jewels of Bless and Soul is the only way to stop this in the meantime, as the market returns to the way it was a week ago. Lahap WILL be able to Dissolve jewels. We will be working return his ability to combine as soon as possible, and any updates we receive will be posted here immediately.

2) You will also notice that pressing the X key now brings up a "GMO PowerUp Shop". There will only be one test item at the moment (this is NOT connected to PlaySpan in any way). Webzen is still working on some bugs that pertain to the power-up shop. Please do not try to purchase G1 Credits in hopes of using the GMO PowerUp Shop, since it will not work. Soon we will be getting some great in-game buffs and other new items. No armor, weapons or any current game item will be available there. The items for the Power-up store have not finished the final testing stages yet. We decided that even a patch with a nearly empty Power-up store with all the fixes in the near future was worth it to block the server bypasses, the 3rd party programs, and implement more recent game fixes. We will be releasing more information soon about those items that will soon be available as we continue testing.

3) Another change: No more Leo the Helper. He wasn't helpful.

The changes you will notice after the servers come back will be substantial in combating the recent wave of hacking and 3rd party programs.
